Since the beginning of January I have had the pleasure of working with running back Everette Benjamin formerly of Central Connecticut State. He embodies all the character and hard work to get to the next level and we wish him the best of luck going into the draft.

Aside from all the great benefits of a professional coaches’ training knowledge (which will save you a ton of time in getting results), I think the accountability is the biggest value in a coaching situation.

When you pay money for coaching you are committed.

You will work hard in the sessions and do things outside the gym to support your progress.

Yes, of course we benefit from people paying more for training so you may be thinking “Of course he is going to say that”.

But, most times….

The people who go it alone struggle, the group training people get results, the boot campers do better… and the private clients soar!

The coaching is the same.

The commitment totally different.

Are you AFRAID to get results?

Yes, that is a serious question.

You may say, “Why would I be afraid to get results?…That is completely ridiculous Frank!!”

Well here is what I think and you can absolutely disagree with me if you want.

I don’t think you are as lazy as you think you are.

I don’t think it is that difficult to set up an exercise routine and nutrition plan and then follow it.

I think the hard part is having to tell someone “no” and making time for yourself.

I think the hard part is changing your schedule around and effecting other people’s lives.

I think the hard part is that you will have to change who you are and everyone is so used to you being a certain way.

So ask yourself if you are afraid to rock the boat?

Will you let that fear get in the way of your results?

I heard someone say one time that you are either running from something or running towards something.

Where are you on that continuum and where do you want to be?
